How does Rock or Road Air differ from other 4 tire systems?
Other systems use mechanical valves and gauges requiring frequent stops to check the gauge while airing up or down.
Our patent-pending system uses a small computer to control a valve to air down, and a compressor to air up. Your smartphone or controller is the user interface to the computer. It is mechanically simple, making it fast and easy to use.
Why is airing down with Rock or Road Air faster than using tire deflators?
Tire deflators use a spring-loaded valve to let air out of the tires. Air coming out has to push against the spring, which reduces the flow.
Rock or Road Air is faster because its valve has no flow restriction. Air is released simultaneously from all four tires with computer-controlled accuracy, the added bonus being that all four tires are inflated to the exact same pressure.
Is Road or Road Air faster and easier to use than a portable compressor?
Portable compressors require you to go from tire to tire and stop several times to check pressure on an analog gauge.
Rock or Road Air uses quick-disconnect hoses to all four tires, rapidly and accurately filling them to the exact pressure without any intervention.
Can I do the installation myself?
Ammo air is assembled and ready to go!
The Universal and JK systems are mechanically simple, so installation is relatively easy. To arrange a consultation, contact us via our contact page.
I have a limited budget. How can I reduce the cost?
1. You can supply the compressor.
2. You can use less of our hardware by upgrading your existing system. It should be noted that some of our hardware cannot be substituted.
In either case, contact us via our contact page, and we will help you integrate Rock or Road Air into your vehicle.
